  • Municipal Spatial Development Framework review

Spatial Development Frameworks are integral components of the Council-approved Integrated Development Plan (IDP), and serve as the principal strategic planning instruments to guide and inform long term spatial planning and urban development in the municipality. The City reviews its MSDF and District SDFs every 5-10 years, to ensure alignment with various City Strategies and the 5-year Integrated Development Plan, which is implemented against the backdrop of the Spatial Development Frameworks.
